Krakow Balice International Airport (KRK): Approximate driving time to Cracowdays is 20 minutes and distance is 10 kilometres (6 miles).
Getting there: The airport train station is 200 metres from the terminal accessible by a free shuttle bus service. A shuttle train runs to and from Krakow Dworzec Glowny station every 30 minutes from 4 AM to midnight. The journey takes about 15 minutes and a single fare is approximately PLN 4. Tickets can be purchased on board. From here take tram number 4, 13, 14, or 24 in the direction of Bronowice and alight at the third stop. Turn left and continue along Karmelicka for approximatley 50 metres. Turn left again for the hotel. A taxi direct from the airport typically costs around 23. The hotel can also arrange for transfers (surcharge). All prices are subject to change.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the third exit off the roundabout, and continue along the 774 road. After 500 metres, turn right and continue along Balicka for approximatley four kilometres. Take Bronowicka and then Krolewska for approximately one kilometre. Turn right onto Plac Inwalidow Wojennych, continue along Aleja Mickiewicza for about 400 metres, turn left and continue along Aleja Mickiewicza. Turn right onto Karmelicka, and then right again onto Grabowskiego for the hotel.
Getting around: Much of Krakows historic city centre is pedestrianised although horse-drawn carriages, electric carts and rickshaws transport visitors around. Trams and buses traverse the rest of the city. Single tickets cost PLN 2.50 for adults. One-day travel passes can also be purchased for PLN 10. Taxis are abundant and relatively inexpensive in Krakow. All prices are subject to change.
