Getting there: The airport train station is 200 metres from the terminal accessible by a free shuttle bus service. A shuttle train runs to and from Krakow Dworzec Glowny station every 30 minutes from 4 AM to midnight. The journey takes about 15 minutes and a single fare is approximately PLN 4. Tickets can be purchased on board. Two bus services run from the airport to downtown Krakow and the train station every 15-25 minutes. From the station take Tram 13 to Miodowa or Tram 71 or 79 to Stradom, and alight for the hotel. A taxi direct to the hotel from the airport typically costs around PLN 75. Alternatively the residence can arrange for transfers from the airport, costing €30. All prices subject to change.
Getting around:Much of Krakow’s historic city centre is pedestrianised although horse-drawn carriages, electric carts and rickshaws transport visitors around. Trams and buses traverse the rest of the city. Single tickets cost PLN 2.50 for adults. One-day travel passes can also be purchased for PLN 10. Taxis are abundant and relatively inexpensive in Krakow. All prices are subject to change.
