Krakow-Balice International Airport (KRK): Approximate driving time is 40 minutes and distance is 15 kilometers (9.5 miles).

Bus number 192 runs from the airport into the centre of Krakow throughout the day. Guests should alight at Rynek Glowny, the market square. It is also possible to take a taxi from the airport, which should cost approximately 60 PLM, roughly €15.

Driving directions: On leaving the airport, follow signs to the city centre (Centrum). Once in the city, look out for the main post office. The hotel is located on Westerplatte, between the post office and the railway station (Dworzec Krakow Glowny).

Krakow is served by a network of buses and trams. It is possible to buy tickets valid for a day or a week for unlimited travel. Single journey tickets are also available and can be used for up to an hour after purchase. Tickets can be bought from street kiosks and the driver, although buying on the bus is more expensive. Passengers must punch the ticket at the beginning of each journey on the bus or tram, and large items of luggage must also be punched on for no charge. Krakow is mostly closed to car traffic, although there is a cycle network. Medieval streets are best explored on foot.
