Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport (WAW): Approximate driving time is 15 minutes and distance is nine kilometres (5.5 miles).
The taxi stand is located in front of the Arrivals hall; fares are 35-40 PLN (€10) to the city centre. Bus stops are located immediately in front of the Arrivals hall. Buses run from Dworzec Centralny railway station (130, 501), from Dworzec Zachodni bus station (130, 172), from Okecie Airport (175/130, 175/501), and from the city centre (501, 519, 116, E-1).
Buses and trams run from 5 AM to 11 PM. The one-line metro system runs every five to eight minutes from the southern suburbs to the city centre. Horse-drawn carriages are also available in Warsaw's old town.
Driving directions: From the airport, drive into the city towards Zwirki I Wigury Street, and turn left onto Sasanki Street. Continue straight and then turn left onto Wladyslawa Sikorskiego Avenue, followed by a right turn onto Sobieskiego, and a right onto Mangalia Street.
